Guild hall glitch?
Okay so for the past month or two, whenever I mapped to my guild hall and logged out (character select), when the previous character is selected, it shows that the location is Isle of Meditation instead of guild hall. So when I play that character, it takes me to the last town I was in, which is usually a laggy and busy one. Not that big of a deal, yet it does get kind of irritating because of how long it takes to load due to the lag. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a glitch, or does anyone know what's going on?

I think somewhere A-Net said something about it in the update notes once before.. I'm sure a poster will come along with it. |

It only ever happens to me if I used Observer Mode on that particular character before logging out. What also bugs me is that if I enter Obs Mode from my guild hall and exit obs mode with the "B" button, it'll take me to the last town instead of my guild hall. If I want to exit before the match I'm watching is over, I have to click "Guild Hall" from the "G" menu.

Same with me as well. I have to put my stuff from the bag into the GH storage before I log out. This way the server will save my exact last know location, which is the hall. It's no biggie really but it wasn't like this before. A bit annoying though, like the OP said.

Yeah i fairly often get this.... map to the gh with the character i've been on then ill switch to a storage mule or something then go back to the other char i was on originally and he's booted out into a town :/ It's really annoying... especially since i normally just have to go back to the gh to whoever is waiting for me o_O

Same happens to me ALOT. Ive also noticed, on the Character Selection Screen, some of my mules say Guild Hall, while others say Imperial Isle (our GH is Imperial Isle). I always leave my mules in my GH.
I made a post about this a while back in the game bugs section, but the moderator must have never approved it for posting. (Or however it works.) |

I'm fairly sure this was part of the glitch fix done a while ago - the one where people could get their pre-searing characters to their guild hall and access storage and trade with post-searing players, etc. After the initial glitch was fixed, it was found that several people had actually left their pre-searing characters in their guildhall, and so there was a second wave of post-searing items introduced into pre-searing. So now if you log out in your guild-hall you're most likely going to get booted the next time you log in.

Happens to me too. Doesn't really bother me that much though, unless it's the first time I've opened the game, I usually load pretty quick and lag or not I can still hit the map button.
Usually if you log out (of char screen) and log back in it corrects it. At least it did for me that one time I actually tried. |

I'm going to close this before it gets longer with a bunch of "me too's" and "it's happened to me's". Maybe post it in the bugs section?
